EcologyWash
- Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need a special cloth/rag to use EcologyWash?
No. You can use an ordinary terry cloth rag to use EcologyWash. After you apply the product and you wipe the dirt from the vehicle, a light haze will remain behind. This is the polish in the product which you will need to wipe away. To do this, you may use another terry cloth rag. For best results, it is recommended you use a micro-fiber towel.
What will EcologyWash clean?
EcologyWash
is for paint, chrome, glass, aluminum,
fiberglass, plastic and other sealed
or smooth surfaces. It also works great
around the house on stainless steel
appliances, windows and mirrors.
How many times will a quart of EcologyWash clean my vehicle?
There are a few factors which determine how many washes can be achieved with one quart bottle of EcologyWash:
- Size of vehicle
- Amount used per application (more or less than recommended)
- Ambient conditions (if used on hot surfaces or direct sun, more product is required)
The average size vehicle (mid sized sedan) with favorable conditions
(not in direct sun or super-heated surface)
one 32oz bottle of EcologyWash should
provide 8-10 washes and polishes.
What if my car is wet?
EcologyWash's special blend of Polymers
are not intended to be mixed with water,
but can be used on wet surfaces. If
applied to a wet vehicle, it may
require an additional towel, as it will
typically become soaked.
How can you move dirt around on the car without soapy water?
EcologyWash's 11 wetting and lubricating agents and emulsifiers create a better environment for dirt to move around on the paint than soapy water. This means you are more likely to scratch your vehicle using soapy water than you are with EcologyWash.
How often can I use EcologyWash?
As often as you like! EcologyWash is designed to leave a percentage of polymer protection from each application. It Just Keeps Getting Slicker!
What about oxidation?
Oxidation is tough, on mild cases it will work amazingly well. Remember, oxidation is something that cannot permanently be stopped. Once oxidation starts, all you can do is keep a good coat of EcologyWash on the paint.
How dirty is "Too Dirty" to use EcologyWash?
Caked on dirt, mud, clay and tree sap are examples of things that should not be removed with EcologyWash. You should first hose those items off the vehicle, allow it to dry, then use EcologyWash. Afterwards, those substances will have a more difficult time clinging to the vehicle, thus allowing the vehicle to stay clean longer.
How EcologyWash
Impacts the Environment
We are proud to have
a product that makes a huge impact on
our environment. Everywhere from California
to Florida there have been water restrictions
put in place to regulate watering lawns
to washing your vehicles, some even
have stringent fines attached. With
EcologyWash there is no need for water,
and you are producing a better result
in a shorter period of time.
Every time a vehicle is washed with
water 100-150 gallons of drinking water
is wasted and contaminated with the
different chemicals that are used for
washing problem areas such as degreases,
etc...
Do your part and use EcologyWash as
a regular vehicle maintenance routine
instead of water.
